Qld raid on rabbits

Rabbit police do exist & were out hunting yesterday in the suburbs of Brisbane, Queensland. Search warrants were used by council representatives to search and destroy pet rabbits that had been dobbed in by one very disgruntled vet.

Over recent months, a male vet was asked to leave a practice in Brisbane (don't know why) but before he left the premises he stole private records of clients who were known to have long eared guinea pigs at their homes. This nasty piece of work then dobbed in the clients to the council who therefore issued search warrants to remove innocent rabbits from their homes & their loving families to be destroyed for no other reason than existing.

We only hope that this poor excuse for an animal doctor finds himself without any further ability to practice his career due to some very unfortunate accident. May the fleas of a thousand camels infest his armpits! (very soon)

If you would like to sign our petition asking the Queensland government to review their $30,000 fine for desexed, registered and vaccinated rabbits, please visit:

Desexed rabbits are no threat to the environment. Laws such as this are only detrimental to public education and cause hatred, fear and misunderstanding.
